23 February, 2018Speaking at the Islamic Conference of Labour Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Minister of Labour and Social Security Zeki Çeler spoke about the TRNC’s labour market.
Within the framework of the conference, Çeler held bilateral meetings with the Labour Ministers of the Islamic countries. He stressed that cooperation in the labour market will not only offer new opportunities, but is also very important in terms of preventing human trafficking. Çeler added that the TRNC government is ready to act together with the member countries to solve such problems.
Çeler also met with the Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen, and officials from the Islamic Development Bank and the Islamic Solidarity Fund.
