29 July, 2016President Mustafa Akıncı and the Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Anastasiades will discuss the “territory”, “security” and “guarantee” issues for the first time today as part of the intensified negotiation process.
The issues of “map”, “percentage” and “village names” will not be on the agenda on today’s meeting.
The sixth leaders’ meeting of July will be held at the building allocated by the UN for the negotiations, in the buffer zone.
The negotiations will resume in the second half of August after a short break. The forthcoming leaders’ meeting dates are expected to be announced today.
