The two leaders, President Mustafa Akıncı and the Greek Cypriot Leader Nicos Anastasiades will meet today to prepare for the negotiations which will take place on 12 January 2017 in Geneva.
The meeting will begin at 7.30pm in the UN buffer zone.
President Akıncı also received the Ambassador of Netherlands in Nicosia, Nathalie Jaarsma yesterday. No statement was made to the press following the meeting at the Presidency.
