The resistance in Limasol, which took place between 10-13 February 1964 during the years of struggle for existence of the Turkish Cypriots’, and the martyrs who lost their lives in this resistance, were commemorated in a ceremony held at the Limasol-Girne Martyrs and Freedom Monument in Girne.
In his speech at the ceremony, President Ersin Tatar stated that the heroism shown in Limasol Resistance can never be forgotten.
