22 September, 2017Yesterday, TRNC Negotiator Özdil Nami met with Cristoph Heusgen, Germany’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Foreign Policy Adviser to Chancellor Angela Merkel. Nami is also holding meetings in New York alongside President Mustafa Akıncı as part of the TRNC’s outreach during the UN General Assembly. Yesterday’s meeting was held at the Permanent Representative Office of Germany in New York, where Nami and Heusgen exchanged views and analysed the negotiation process in Cyprus.
