Special Representative of the President, Güneş Onar held meetings in New York with Deputy Permanent Representatives of France and the United Kingdom (UK), the Political Director of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, and Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN).

According to a statement from the Presidency, Special Representative Onar met with Deputy Permanent Representative of France to UN, Ambassador Jay Dharmadhikari, the Political Director of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, Günter Sautter, UN Asistant Secretary-General for Europe, Central Asia, and the Americas, Miroslav Jenca, and UK Deputy Permanent Representative to UN, Ambassador James Kariuki in New York.
