25 March, 2022Osman Örek, one of the leading figures in the Turkish Cypriot Peoples’ struggle for existence who served as the Prime Minister of the Turkish Federated of Cyprus was remembered yesterday (24 March 2022) on the 23rd anniversary of his death at a ceremony held at his graveside.
President Ersin Tatar, Prime Minister Faiz Sucuoğlu, the Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa Ali Murat Başçeri, military authorities, some ministers, deputies and other authorities attended the ceremony.
In his speech during the ceremony, President Tatar highlighted the great services given by the late politician to the Turkish Cypriot people.
