President Erhürman visits the CMP’s Anthropology Laboratory

The President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Tufan Erhürman visited the Anthropology Laboratory of the Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus (CMP) with the Leader of the Greek Cypriot Administration Nikos Christodoulides in the UN buffer zone yesterday.

They were welcomed by María Ángela Holguín, the Personal Envoy of the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General; Khassim Diagne, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and Head of Mission of the UN Peacekeeping Force, the Turkish Cypriot Member of the CMP, Hakkı Müftüzade, the Greek Cypriot Member of the CMP, Leonidas Pantelides and other members of the Committee.

President Erhürman and Greek Cypriot Leader Christodoulides were briefed by members of the CMP on the ongoing work in the laboratory.

During the visit, President Erhürman was accompanied by Presidential Undersecretary Mehmet Dana and Chief of Staff of the Presidency, Mustafa Ergüven.
