10 July, 2024TRNC President Ersin Tatar, who was in Shusha, Azerbaijan to attend the Informal Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (TDT), met with İlham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In his statement to the Turkish News Agency Cyprus correspondent following the tete a tete meeting, President Tatar described the meeting as very positive and fruitful.
Stating that many issues were discussed, especially the development of mutual relations with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Tatar said that it is extremely important for the TRNC to take part in the Organisation of Turkic States, in the family photo, to address the summit and to participate in the meetings.
