20 November, 2023President Ersin Tatar participated in a programme on London-based Talk TV and explained the struggle of the Turkish Cypriot people.
Emphasizing that the guarantor country United Kingdom (UK) should review its Cyprus policy, President Tatar stated that the UK knows the realities of Cyprus and should now respond to the direct flights and other expectations of the Turkish Cypriot people.
Explaining the history of Cyprus, Tatar pointed out that the UK is a guarantor country on the island and should treat the parties equally.
