29 January, 2016Prime Minister Ömer Kalyoncu stated that they will finalize the water issue in the coming days after the meeting with the government officials from Turkey.
Kalyoncu stated that an operation will be defined in the form of public-private partnership for the first time and the water will be transferred to the citizens. Stating that at this point municipalities are responsible for the issue, Kalyoncu said that the main aim is to ensure the transfer of the water to citizens by the cheapest and the best way.
Kalyoncu said that the municipalities and government are responsible for the water issue in the area of the TRNC, therefore it is natural to investigate the issue in detail.
