As part of his official engagements in Ankara, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel met with Cevdet Yılmaz, Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye and Yaşar Güler, Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Türkiye.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Ministry, the meeting with Vice President Yılmaz focused on the latest progress and ongoing efforts regarding the natural gas pipeline project, described as the “Project of the Century” which aims to transport natural gas to the TRNC under an agreement expected to be signed in the TRNC later this month.
During his meeting with Minister Güler, Prime Minister Üstel exchanged views on the TRNC-Türkiye relations, recent developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and broader regional issues.
