The “Republic Day Reception” was held by the TRNC Consulate General in Mersin on the occasion of the 39th anniversary of the proclamation of the TRNC.

The reception was hosted by Consul General Zalihe Mendeli and her husband Salih Mendeli in the Hall of Honor of the Mersin Cultural Center.

Consul General Zalihe Mendeli gave a speech during the reception.

Furthermore, a live performance was performed by Mersin State Opera and Ballet Artists in honour of the 39th anniversary of the Republic.
