9 September, 2015Speaker of the Assembly Sibel Siber received the Education Minister of Abkhazia Republic Adgur Kakoba and the accompanying delegation.
Siber mentioned her satisfaction for the positive impressions the delegation gained during their visit to the country and stressed the importance of communication for peace in the world.
Adding that they attach great importance to such visits, Siber wished for the end of the 50 years old Cyprus problem by a solution.
In his speech during the reception, Kakoba said that TRNC is a new state as Abkhazia Republic and added that they have paid a visit to the TRNC in order to develop their cooperation in the education sector. Kakoba also expressed that although the TRNC is not a recognized country, it is recognized in the education sector throughout the world.
