Small piece of NORATLAS has been found

Excavation works have been continuing for finding the remains of Greek commandos who were killed by the Greek Cypriot National Guard on 22 July 1974 in the transport plane NORATLAS. Within the framework of the excavation works around Greek Military Cemetery   a small piece of the plane has been found. Greek Politis newspaper wrote that within the framework of excavation works to determine NORATLAS plane which started on 27 July, a piece that belongs to the plane has been found. Newspaper reported that the piece was found buried under the Monument that was built for commemorating those commandos that were killed in the plane.
