25 September, 2023President Ersin Tatar, who is in New York to make contacts due to 78th General Assembly of United Nations, met with The President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
President Tatar drew attention to the importance of Turkish President Erdoğan’s call to recognize the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus politically, economically and diplomatically in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, which has strongly supported the two-state solution model from the first day, in announcing the just voice of the Turkish Cypriots to the whole world.
