8 March, 2023President Ersin Tatar stated that the UN Security Council Resolution 186 adopted 59 years ago today is a black page in the history of Cyprus.
Noting that the current unsustainable status quo was created on the island with this unfair and politically motivated resolution, Tatar said, “For this very reason, I put forward our new vision for the end of the unacceptable status quo that has lasted for decades and the registration of our sovereign equality and equal international status, which are our inherent rights.”
