UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy Jane Holl Lute thanked President Mustafa Akıncı for being committed to the effort for finding a constructive way in which to improve solving the Cyprus problem.

Presidential Spokesperson Barış Burcu stated that in her letter to President Akıncı, Special Envoy Lute expressed her wish to meet with Akıncı in the near future.

Burcu said that in her letter to Akıncı Lute wrote: “I thank you again for your constructive effort”.
