Akıncı: “The basis of our common aim is the happiness and peace of our people”

14 January, 2016President Mustafa Akıncı and the Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Anastasiades will hold their second meeting of 2016 today, in efforts to find a comprehensive solution to the Cyprus issue. The meeting will take place at the buffer zone.
After the meeting which took place on 7 January 2016 President Akıncı said that Cyprus negotiations were continuing decisively and efficiently with the aim of a lasting peace. The leaders are expected to meet again on 29th of January.
