TRNC attends OTS Mapping Institutions Meeting in Baku

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) participated in the 2^nd Meeting of the Heads of Mapping Institutions of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held in Baku, Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, the TRNC was represented by a delegation headed by Batu Beyit, Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior.

During the contacts in Baku, the delegation was accompanied by the TRNC Representative to Baku, Ambassador Ufuk Turganer, and Third Secretary Görkem Reis.

Alongside the TRNC, the heads and senior officials of mapping institutions from Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Hungary also attended the meeting.

In his address, Undersecretary Beyit provided on overview of the cartography activities carried out in the TRNC and called for increased cooperation and experience sharing in this field.
