31 March, 2015It was stated that establishment and functioning of the TRNC Immovable Property Commission has taken place in the report submitted to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe by the European People Party group member French Yves Pozzo di Borgo at the European Parliament.
According to the Greek Cypriot daily Fileleftheros, it was expressed in the report of Borgo which was submitted to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe that establishment of Immovable Property Commission is a kind of activity which can contribute to decrease the cases in the European Court of Human Rights.
It was also stated in the report that establishment of TRNC Immovable Property Commission opened the way for returning of cases from ECHR to Cyprus.
