Turkish Cypriot poets have read their poetries at the ‘11th International Cappadocia Poetry Celebration and Macedonia Culture and Friendship Night’
According to the information given by the Department of Culture, Member of Parliament and poet Arif Albayrak, Director of the Department of Culture Nilay Tunçalp, poet Beste Sakallı and poet, composer and photography artist Dolgun Dalgıçoğlu participated in the 11th International Cappadocia Poetry Celebration and Macedonia Culture and Friendship Night which was organized in Nevşehir.
Besides TRNC there were lots of poets from Turkey, Azerbaijan and Macedonia who took part in the International Cappadocia Poetry Celebration. At the same time, the President of Macedonia Gjorge İvanov, Minister of Culture of Macedonia Elizabeta Kançefska Milevska and some parliamentarians from Macedonia and Azerbaijan also participated.
Within the framework of the activity, one of the streets was named as “Mağusa” by the decision of Uçhisar Municipal Council and an opening ceremony was made.
