18 July, 2017The Committee on Missing Persons has announced that President Mustafa Akıncı has donated €50,000 to the Committee on behalf of the Turkish Cypriot side.
The Turkish Cypriot side has donated €358,000 in total to the Committee on Missing Persons over the last 11 years. The Committee conducts ongoing investigations to identify missing persons in Cyprus and return them to their families.
Up to the present day the Committee on Missing Persons has found the remains of 792 missing persons from both the Turkish and Greek Cypriot sides, and returned them to their families.
