Turkish Cypriots living in UK protested Mayor Grace Williams, who ordered the TRNC flag hoisted on the pole in front of Waltham Forest Municipality to be lowered after the Greek Cypriots’ reactions.

3 Turkish Cypriots on behalf of the Turkish Cypriots participated to the City Council meeting which was ongoing during the protest. President of the Turkish Cypriot Youth and Family Association UK Nafiya Horozoğlu made a speech addressing Williams at the meeting.
