Turkish Finance Minister Şimşek visiting TRNC

Türkiye’s Minister of Treasury and Finance, Mehmet Şimşek, is visiting the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) today for a series of high-level meetings and a major economic event.

Minister Şimşek commenced his visit with an official reception hosted by the President Ersin Tatar.

He was subsequently received by the Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly, Ziya Öztürkler.

Later in the day, Minister Şimşek is scheduled to take part in a conference entitled “Developments in the Turkish and Global Economy and Future Vision” at the Presidency.
