14 February, 2018Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Berat Albayrak has criticized unilateral hydrocarbon-related activities of the Greek Cypriot side in Eastern Mediterranean.
“Turkey is more effective in managing energy politics and Mediterranean diplomacy. We will not allow anyone to ignore the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and its citizens. We will use our rights – which are derived from international law – until the end,” said Minister Albayrak.
“We have always acted rationally and clearly, particularly in the field of energy, and we will present a more effective approach to energy diplomacy and politics for our country and region,” said Albayrak.
