Turkish President Erdoğan: “Pakistan’s support for the just cause of Turkish Cypriots is highly meaningful to us”

According to a report by Anadolu Agency (AA), President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of the Republic of Türkiye made a statement during the joint press conference with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif following the Seventh Meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council. He noted Türkiye continues to stand in solidarity with the Kashmiris, just as it did in the past, and said: “As Türkiye, our support for resolving the Kashmir issue through dialogue, based on UN resolutions and taking into account the expectations of our Kashmiri brothers, remains permanent.”

“Pakistan’s support for the just cause of the Turkish Cypriots is extremely meaningful to us,” he added.
