23 October, 2020Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay is coming to the TRNC today (23/10/2020) in order to attend Tatar’s oath-taking ceremony as the newly elected President of the TRNC.
According to an AA report, Oktay will attend the inauguration ceremony to be held in the TRNC Assembly and the handover ceremony at the Presidential Residence for Ersin Tatar, who won the election held on 18th October 2020 and was elected as the 5th President of the TRNC.
Tatar and Oktay are expected to meet after the ceremonies. During the meeting, it is envisaged they will discuss the relations of Turkey and the TRNC from all aspects and exchange views on regional issues.
