Türkiye calls for solidarity against isolation of Turkish Cypriots

Turkish Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu has urged member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) to demonstrate solidarity with the Turkish Cypriots against the ongoing isolations, particularly in the healthcare sector.

Speaking at the 5th Meeting of Health Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States held in Astana, Kazakhstan, Minister Memişoğlu emphasized the importance of unity in addressing the restrictions imposed on the Turkish Cypriot people.

“We fully support the just cause of our Turkish Cypriot brothers and deeply value the backing of the Turkic States Organization, which we consider a family,” he stated.

Emphasizing the objective of advancing the OTS through a common vision and mutual spirit, Memişoğlu added that the importance of standing together as a united Turkic world against the isolations faced by the Turkish Cypriot brothers—particularly in healthcare—should once again be stressed.
