The public broadcaster of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Bayrak Radio Television Corporation (BRTK), has expanded its broadcasting footprint across a vast region stretching from the United Kingdom to Malaysia through technical cooperation with TÜRKSAT.
According to a statement from the company, the partnership between TÜRKSAT and BRTK has significantly broadened the TRNC’s broadcasting reach.
Through a new broadcasting architecture supported by TÜRKSAT’s advanced satellite fleet, BRT is now accessible across an extensive geography, beginning in the United Kingdom and extending through the Turkistan corridor including Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan reaching to Indonesia and Malaysia.
The statement also noted that the Türksat 6A satellite has started to further enhance BRT’s signal quality and expand its broadcast coverage across South Asia.
