23 April National Sovereignty and Children’s Day commemorated with ceremonies

The 105th anniversary of the inauguration of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye and the 23 April National Sovereignty and Children’s Day were celebrated with great enthusiasm across the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

As part of the celebrations, a ceremony took place at the Atatürk Monument in Lefkoşa.

In his address at the ceremony, President Tatar highlighted the significance of sovereignty and national will, stating that the ongoing policy of a two-state solution is fundamentally grounded in the consciousness of sovereignty.
