The Chairperson of the Committee on Legal, Political Affairs, Foreign Relations and Defense of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Parliament, Yasemin Öztürk along with committee member, Republican Turkish Party MP Ürün Solyalı participated in the Second Meeting of the Heads of Commission on Defense and Security of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) Member Parliaments.
The meeting, held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan on 15 April 2025, was themed “Strengthening Security and Defense Cooperation among Turkic States: The Role of Parliaments.”
