3rd President Eroğlu: “A new hydrocarbon tender is evidence that the rights of the Turkish Cypriots are continuing to be usurped”

3rd President Derviş Eroğlu said that while the two sides are negotiating reunification, the Greek Cypriot Administration’s decision to open a new tender for hydrocarbon exploration is evidence of their intention to continue to usurp the rights of the Turkish Cypriots and shows one more time that a factual and viable solution is not possible under these circumstances. Eroğlu called President Akıncı to show the necessary determination to stop the Greek Cypriots and to take steps in order to protect the rights of the Turkish Cypriots.
