14 October, 2025The 3rd Turkic World International Engineering Summit held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has concluded. The closing session was attended by President Ersin Tatar, former Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, and other officials.
The summit organized by the Engineers Association of the Republic of Türkiye lasted for three days.
The summit took place at the Presidential Complex with the participation of member and observer countries of the Organization of Turkic States under the theme “Technology and Engineering”
During the conference, new technologies, innovative practices, and scientific advancements in engineering were discussed, with a focus on strengthening cooperation within the Turkic world.
In his address, President Ersin Tatar expressed his pleasure at hosting engineers of the Turkic world in the TRNC, particularly in the new Presidential Complex, a landmark engineering project.
Tatar expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the project and reiterated that the TRNC would continue working toward development and progress despite embargoes and isolations.
He affirmed his commitment to ensuring that the Turkish Cypriot people live freely, independently, and peacefully, with rising prosperity and security.
Tatar voiced confidence that Turkish Cypriot architects and engineers would take their place in the Turkic world, describing the TRNC as the stronghold of the Turkic world in the Eastern Mediterranean, and emphasized the importance of continued support for its advancement.
