24 November, 2017On Thursday, TRNC President Mustafa Akıncı addressed the All Party Parliamentary Group for the TRNC at the House of Lords. This took place as part of a wider scheduled visit to meet and engage with members of the extensive Turkish Cypriot diaspora in the UK. In his speech to the APPG and other MPs, Akıncı discussed the causes of the failed Cyprus Conference and later took questions from participants.
During his trip, President Akıncı will also meet with representatives of Turkish Cypriot NGOs and civil society groups in the UK, as well as members of the wider Turkish Cypriot community, to discuss developments relating to the TRNC and the Cyprus negotiation process.
