29 May, 2015Greek Cypriot Leader Nikos Anastasiadis said that their aim is to achieve a solution as soon as possible.
According to Greek Cypriot sources; Anastasiades said that everyone’s aim is to reach a solution which will meet expectations of the Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots and that the state will comply with the EU criterias.
Furthermore, Anastasiadis announced a series of Confidence Building Measures including the opening of the Lefke – Aplıç and Derinya crossing points and mentioned the difficulties for opening of some crossing points. Anastasiades also mentioned the issue of missing persons and said that strict secrecy will be applied for the ones who give information about missing persons.
