A delegation from the TRNC Assembly participated in the First Part of the 2026 Ordinary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), held in Strasbourg from 26 to 30 January.
According to a statement issued by the Assembly of the Republic, the delegation—headed by National Unity Party MP Hasan Taçoy and including Republican Turkish Party MP Armağan Candan—took part not only in the PACE Plenary Session but also in meetings of various committees, notably the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy, as well as political group meetings.
