5 November, 2019Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres who visited Istanbul to attend the 6th Istanbul Mediation Conference.
Çavuşoğlu said in a Twitter post following the meeting ‘At our meeting we have evaluated recent regional and international developments with the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, particularly on Syria, Palestine and Cyprus issues. We exchanged views on cooperation projects between Turkey and the UN’.
