This week, three members of the TRNC Committee on Missing Persons (CMP) will be in Vienna, Austria to conduct historical research. Gülden Plümer Küçük, a member of the CMP, told a TAK reporter that the three-person team is currently in Austria to use the National Archives before moving onto Geneva, Switzerland. The committee has also visited London and New York in the past to conduct similar investigations.

The Committee on Missing Persons is responsible for returning the identified remains of deceased individuals, who went missing in Cyprus between 1963-64 and in 1974, to their families.

The CMP members are expected to return to the island this Friday.
