19 April, 2017Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu has travelled to the Sultanate of Oman within the framework of his contact programme in Gulf countries.
During his visit, Ertuğruloğlu met with the Secretary General of the Islamic Cooperation Organization and the President of the Islamic Development Bank and the Executive Director of the Islamic Solidarity Fund in Jeddah.
Ertuğruloğlu also visited the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Muscat and met with Muscat Ambassador Ersan. The development of the TRNC’s activities in Oman, especially around promoting tourism, trade and higher education in the TRNC, were discussed at the meeting.
Foreign Minister Ertuğruloğlu further visited the TRNC Muscat Representative Office as part of his visit to Oman and received a briefing about the work of the representative office.
In the meantime, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mustafa Lakadamyalı also met with the Muscat Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Ahmet Al Dheeb.
