The Muratağa-Sandallar and Atlılar martyrs were commemorated with ceremonies held yesterday on the 50th anniversary of the second phase of the Peace Operation,

In his speech, President Ersin Tatar stated that the great genocide movement has never been forgotten and will never be forgotten, because Turkish Cypriots owe their presence to the martyrs.

President Tatar condemned the lack of prosecution for the perpetrators of the genocide, asserting that it was carried out by the Greek Cypriot administration, police, and military of that time.
