3 June, 2015Former negotiator Ergün Olgun told that it would be disadvantageous to discuss the territory issue now, since it was decided to be discussed at the final stage.
Former negotiator Ergün Olgun evaluated the recent statements of Greek Cypriot Foreign Minister Kasoulides that the leaders would be moving on to the issue of Governance, Property and Territory when they meet on the 17th of June. Olgun said that with this method the Greek Cypriot side would have achieved to move on to Territory issue without making any progress in the Governance and Power sharing chapters and added that thus they are trying to negotiate the matters of maps and figures on an equal basis with the other issues.(Kıbrıs Postası)
