President’s Special Representative Güneş Onar met separately with the Deputy Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom (UK) and France to the United Nations (UN) Security Council, Ambassador James Kariuki and Ambassador Jay Dharmadhikari.
According to information released by the Presidency, the meetings held in context of the New York contacts, addressed the period following the informal 5+1 summit convened by the UN Secretary-General in July.
The parties also exchanged views on the tripartite meeting held the previous day between President Ersin Tatar and the Greek Cypriot Leader which was hosted by the UN Secretary-General.
