Öztürkler receives Azerbaijani delegation

The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ziya Öztürkler received Azerbaijani MPs, journalists and representatives of non-governmental organizations.

The delegation is visiting the TRNC to participate in the 2^nd Rauf Raif Denktaş and Dr. Fazıl Küçük International Cyprus Studies Symposium, which will be held tomorrow (1 February), organized by the Turkish Union Solidarity Association (Türk-Bir).

Öztürkler stated that such organizations are of great importance for the promotion and international recognition of the TRNC.

Noting that the symposium will bring together 52 officials from 12 countries, Öztürkler expressed that they always support and will continue to support such scientific studies and events.
