TRNC Legislative Assembly issues Joint Declaration condemning the Greek Cypriot Enosis decision

15 February, 2017Greek Cypriot Ombudswoman Eliza Savvidu has accused Greek Cypriot police of racist behaviours. According to report of the Politis newspaper, this statement came in light of a recent complaint by a foreign national who claimed that both he and his wife were victims of police brutality in 2013. Savvidu also said that they received similar complaints before and added that the Greek Cypriot police was warned about the issue.
