9 August, 2016Prime Minister Hüseyin Özgürgün attended a ‘Democracy and Martyrs’ Rally at the Yenikapı parade ground in Istanbul yesterday.
Prime Minister Özgürgün, who attended the meeting upon the invitation of the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, spoke at the Rally along with the Turkish Prime Minister and AK Party Leader Binali Yıldırım, CHP Leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and MHP Leader Devlet Bahçeli.
The Rally was held under the auspices of the Turkish Presidency and with the support of the Governorship of İstanbul and the Municipality of İstanbul.
Prime Minister Özgürgün will return to the Island this evening.
