President Mustafa Akıncı has paid a one day visit to Ankara to hold a conference entitled “Atatürk and the Turkish Cypriots”.

President Akıncı will host the conference at the International Program for Commemorating Atatürk, organized by the Union of Turkish Bar Associations.

 The President will be a guest of honour at the programme, which the presidents and representatives from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Moldovia, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkey are due to attend.

President Akıncı will return to TRNC tonight.
