Turkish Cypriot negotiator Özdil Nami has travelled to the USA to hold meetings in New York.

Nami has been assigned the duty of briefing the representatives of various countries at the UN about the developments that took place in Crans-Montana by President Mustafa Akıncı.

The Cyprus Conference which was organised in Crans-Montana in order to find a solution to the Cyprus problem, came to an end after 9 days of work by the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, who declared the conference to be unsuccessful.
