19 Mart, 2019Spokesperson of the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Barış Burcu stated that President Akıncı would attend the bicommunal football match organized by ‘Peace and Sport’ only if it takes place at the buffer zone near the mixed village of Pyla, as he was initially told, and not in the Greek Cypriot side.
Spokesperson Burcu also pointed out in his written statement that President Akıncı is ready to evaluate with goodwill and a positive approach any bicommunal sports.
